I’ve been wondering for several weeks how best to deal with the window frame to featherboard detail. Finally I came up with this solution: to run a piece of 50 x 50mm green oak down each side of the window frame from floor to ceiling.
A knock-on consequence of this was that I then needed to add additional elements to the wall panel frame to take the featherboard fixings. Let’s see how it all works out.
