Monday 3/5/21 – Bank Holiday
Today was another day off really although I did manage to cut the softwood hip rafters to length in anticipation of a roofer coming tomorrow to quote to put on the slates.
I didn’t follow the roof plan precisely when cutting the hip rafters and left them long for fear of them ending up too short.
Tomorrow I hope to be able to acquire the joists and joist hangers for the ceiling of the righthand bay and get these in place.
